About Cheer Map

Cheer Map helps athletes and families find cheerleading programs near them: All-Star gyms, middle and high school teams, college programs, rec and youth leagues, and professional teams. It's a project of Cheer Ambassadors, a 501(c)(3) non-profit advocating for the sport of cheerleading, its athletes and the cheer community.

Where the data comes from

Listings were compiled from public sources, including USASF's club finder, state high school associations, competition results, Pop Warner and USA Football league lists, and federal school and college directories. Each listing shows how many public sources back it up and when it was last checked.

Our team uses AI to help review submissions and keep listings current, and every decision about ownership and upgrades is made by a person.

Cheer Map is a referral service

Cheer Map is a free directory to help families find cheerleading programs. Cheer Ambassadors doesn't screen, inspect, endorse, certify or guarantee any program listed, including programs marked Upgraded or “Managed by the program”. Listings come from public sources and from the programs themselves, and details can change or be out of date.

Before committing to a program, parents, guardians and athletes should do their own research. For example:

TryCheer referrals work the same way: partner gyms are independent, and Cheer Ambassadors isn't responsible for their programs, safety practices or terms.

Something wrong?

Every program page has a Report a problem link. Program staff can claim their listing to update it directly.

Privacy

We don't publish personal email addresses from our research. Programs choose whether to show a contact email on their listing.

We count visits to Cheer Map ourselves, anonymously: no cookies, no advertising trackers, and no IP addresses are stored. We see things like which pages are popular, roughly where visitors are (city or state) and how long pages are viewed, never who you are. Browsers set to “Do Not Track” aren't counted.
